Broadway Is Back, and Miami’s 2026–27 Season Is Pure Magic

•

Miami theater lovers, get ready to sing, dance and perhaps reach for a little extra sparkle. The Adrienne Arsht Center has announced its 2026–27 Broadway in Miami season, and this lineup brings Cuban rhythms, glittering Gatsby glamour, Disney magic and plenty of songs audiences already know by heart.

The curtain rises Sept. 29 with the South Florida premiere and national tour press opening of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Buena Vista Social Club. Filled with music, memory and the unmistakable pulse of Havana, the production feels like the perfect show to launch a season in a city with such a meaningful connection to Cuban culture.

December brings the Miami premiere of A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical, packed with favorites such as “Sweet Caroline” and “America.” Then, in January, The Great Gatsby turns up the glamour with dazzling costumes, romance, tragedy and all the glorious excess of the Roaring Twenties.

The classics arrive in 2027, beginning with The Sound of Music in February. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast follows in the spring with gorgeous new sets, spectacular costumes and beloved songs that still make audiences feel like enchanted castle guests. Finally, Jersey Boys closes the season in June with the story, and unforgettable music, of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

Whether your perfect Broadway evening involves Havana nights, a sparkling green light, climbing every mountain or singing “Be Our Guest,” this season has a seat waiting for you.
